Trust in peer review is the theme of this year's Peer Review Week. In this issue of Digest Deborah Poff, COPE Chair, thanks all peer reviewers for "...your time and expertise is essential in the pursuit of research integrity." and goes on to describe how we can work together to engender trust in peer review. The case discussion is around confidentiality in the reviewer process with help and advice for anyone experiencing similar issues or who need to update their policies and practices to avoid any conflicts in this area. We are also looking for more cases from our members, on any topic, for our upcoming Forum in December.
