Following our recent notice regarding vacancies on the COPE Trustee Board, we are delighted to announce the shortlist for the two vacancies available.
In accordance with our process the Nominations subcommittee thoroughly reviewed all applications and produced a shortlist of 4 candidates (two for each role) to put forward for election. In its recommendations, the subcommittee has taken account of the knowledge, skills and experience of each candidate. Preference was given to those candidates who best met our current needs: (1) candidates with a high level of business strategy experience; (2) candidates with a background in the arts, humanities and social sciences.
A brief summary of each candidate is shown below together with copies of their CVs and application letters. The summary highlights how the candidate meets the needs highlighted by the committee and is not meant to be taken in isolation from their more detailed applications.
Voting for the TWO vacancies will remain open until Wednesday 24 July 2019. All Full and Associate Members are entitled to vote.*
The candidates receiving the highest numbers of votes shall be deemed elected to council. In the event of a tied vote, the Chair of COPE shall have the casting vote. The results of the election shall be declared on the website. The current Trustees can be found here
