Following our recent call for nominations, we are delighted to announce the candidates for the vacancy on the Trustee Board with extensive experience and a proven record in open access publishing.
In accordance with our process, the Trustee Board carefully and thoroughly reviewed all applications and produced a shortlist of 2 candidates to put forward for election. In its recommendations, the Trustee Board has taken account of the knowledge, skills and experience of each candidate. Preference was given to those candidates who best met our current needs.
Voting and election
Voting for the single vacancy will remain open until Monday 22 June 2020.

- Please login as a COPE Member to view the candidates and vote.
- NB: there is only one vote per journal title, even for journals with multiple editors. The vote should be cast by the Member editor, who is usually the Editor-in-Chief, or otherwise by the nominated contact for the journal. Associate members and publishers have one vote each.
The candidates receiving the highest numbers of votes shall be deemed elected to the Trustee Board. In the event of a tied vote, the Chair of COPE shall have the casting vote. The results of the election shall be declared on the website.
