Daniel Ucko is the Head of Ethics and Research Integrity at the American Physical Society (APS). Before this, he was a Senior Associate editor at Physical Review Letters and Ethics Coordinator for the journals.
Prior to joining APS he was a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Birmingham, UK, doing research in condensed matter physics. He holds a PhD in Physics from University College London, UK (2001) and a PhD in Philosophy of Science from Stony Brook University, USA, on the subject of peer review, which he completed in 2020.
