  • Members' area of the website with: publication ethics blog, sample letters, archive of cases and advice, presentations, database of members, auditing tool, newsletter and online distance-learning course on publication misconduct
  • Support for Editors being able to consult and quote advice from the only international group on publication ethics

Who is eligible?

Membership shall consist of the following:

  • Editors of peer-reviewed academic journals;
  • A company or body the primary business and object of which is publishing that includes the publishing of peer-reviewed academic journals;
  • Honorary members co-opted by the Council; and
  • Any individual or company who is not eligible for Journal Membership but who is interested in the objects of the Charity and who is working in or is associated with the publication of academic journals, or has a significant interest in safeguarding the integrity of the academic record.

Subscription

Every member shall be liable to pay an annual subscription in accordance with the rates set forth here (Download PDF, 60 kb) and thereafter as determined at the Annual General Meeting.

Code of Conduct for Editors

Every member journal is expected to strive to adhere to the COPE Code of Conduct.
