In this month’s Digest newsletter we share the recent COPE Forum discussion “Artificial intelligence and fake papers”, now available to watch again, and encourage members to join COPE Council.
COPE, Crossref, the Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ), and the Open Access Scholarly Publishers Association (OASPA) have launched the Publishers Learning & Community Exchange (PLACE), a new collaborative space for publishers with limited resources, whether that is time, money or experience. PLACE is an online forum where publishers can access information from multiple organisations in one place, ask questions, and participate in conversations on best practice in scholarly publishing.
Also at our recent Forum two new publication ethics cases were discussed and the advice given by other COPE members is now available to read.
