Leiden University

Description:

Leiden University was founded in 1575 and is one of the leading international research universities in Europe. The university has a campus in the cities of Leiden and The Hague. We have seven faculties and distinguish five broad clusters of science areas (fundamentals of science; health and wellbeing; languages; cultures and societies; law, politics and administration; life sciences) and one overarching research theme (artificial intelligence). Our university community endorse our four core values: connecting, innovative, responsible and free. These are derived from our motto Praesidium Libertatis (bastion of freedom) and from our Leiden academic identity and culture.
