- Description:
- Founded and designed by Professor Braz Augusto Aquino Brancato, the Journal is part of the project of the Stricto Sensu GraduateProgram in History, organized in 1973 and in operation since 1974. Ibero-American Studies magazine is a journal published every four months for the academic public in the area of History and the Humanities in general. It publishes unpublished and original articles on themes related to the Ibero-American world, with wide chronological coverage, resulting from historical research or from theoretical and methodological approaches. Every six months through 2015 and quarterly from 2016 onwards, the Journal circulates regularly and uninterruptedly from its first issue. Since 2015, the magazine has been published in online version only, and all released volumes are available in PDF on the digital platform. True to its initial proposal to promote thematic diversity and international cooperation, Ibero-American Studies remains open to the continual renewal of its editorial perspectives, presenting articles published in Portuguese, Spanish and English.
