The 2020 COVID-19 pandemic has disrupted most of the world, not only endangering lives and livelihoods but also raising issues over scientific reporting and credibility. The role of the editor in the transmission of credible, reliable, and quality-assured science has never been greater.
This conference will consider the impact of crisis situations on scholarly and science editors. We will be asking what have we learned, and what lessons can we take away to help us in the future?
The programme has been developed to be as interactive as possible, so that experiences of editors can be shared, and the views of members exchanged.
