Report from I BRISPE now published

The report from I BRISPE (the 1st Brazilian meeting on Research Integrity, Science and Publication Ethics) has now been published.  The meeting took place in December 2010, and was attended by the COPE Chair, Liz Wager, who also presented at the 5 day meeting.  

The purpose of the meetings was to 'promote a wider discussion on the topic among Brazilian researchers and stimulate the involvement of the country’s academic community in the development of policies and in decision making concerning ethics and research integrity at the international level" and was an attempt to establish the the first national forum in Brazil to address issues in research integrity.  The report from the meeting can be seen here: http://www.ibrispe.coppe.ufrj.br/download/ReportBRISPE_Brazil_Mar2011.pdf.
