5th World Conference on Research Integrity

COPE will have a prominent role at the WCRI (World Conference on Research Integrity in Hong Kong, China (2-5 June 2019), with four COPE-led symposia and plenary sessions:

  • Plenary session on predatory publishing with Deborah Poff (COPE Vice-Chair and Chair-Elect)
  • Symposium on Transparency 2025, led by Tracey Bretag (COPE Council)
  • A debate on preprints. Chris Graf (COPE co-Chair) and Sabine Kleinart (The Lancet) will co-chair this session, with Heather Tierney (COPE Council) presenting the COPE view and Howard Browman (COPE Council) representing an alternative view
  • Focus track on responsible authorship with Charon Pierson (COPE Secretary), Tracey Bretag (COPE Council), Dr Siu-wai Leung (University of Macau, China) and Trevor Lane (COPE Council).

Medical Editors short course

Mediterranean Editors and Translators Meeting 2018
