Sally is a charity solicitor and has been legal adviser at several large charities, including Cancer Research Campaign, British Red Cross, RSPCA and the Brooke Hospital for Animals. She qualified as a lawyer once her children had grown up and in January 2001 left full-time legal practice to set up CharitySkills, a not-for-profit organisation providing legal, governance and company secretarial training and consultancy to charities (www.charityskills.org).
