After receiving a Masters degree in Information Technology Management from Hong Kong Baptist University, Jiayi Xu joined Chongqing University of Technology, China as a managing editor of CAAI Transactions on Intelligence Technology. She started volunteering for Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ) in 2020 as associate editor. She is a member of Youth Committee of Society of China University Journals and council member of Chongqing Editology Society of Science Periodicals.
