The theme of this year’s seminar is plagiarism. Editors, authors and all those interested in improving the standard of publication ethics are welcome. The full programme can be downloaded here.
The seminar will include invited talks on:
- Plagiarism in the electronic age, from the former editor of Annals of Internal Medicine, Harold Sox
- Cultural differences in plagiarism – a Russian perspective from Vasiliy V Vlassov, Moscow Medical Academy
- An update from CrossCheck on their plagiarism screening project
In addition, there will be:
- Break out sessions in the afternoon with discussion of related cases.
- A panel discussion “Plagiarism clinic”.
- Opportunities to network with other editors and share your experiences and challenges.
